The intimate “black tie” opening was a great success. Included delicious food by Chef Carrie, great exotics drinks made and served by Ross from 95a Bistro, a string quartet and lots of fun dancing well into the night.

Jorge Blanco, New Private Commission

Private commission “Trio” was inspired by Jorge's large-scale sculpture Bravo! at the Ringling Blvd & Orange Ave roundabout in Sarasota, Florida’s thriving downtown. The art collector, fascinated by this public-artwork, requested a smaller version for her home's beautiful garden.

Visiting Go Bongo

During a road trip in Virginia, I stopped by the City of Norfolk to visit one of my public artworks, Go Bongo, installed in 2014. I was happy to see that it looks great, even though the dog's "lead" was missing and someone place a sticker on its body. This work is installed in the Ghent Station area, across from a Fresh Market and on a street with many thriving businesses. The first image was taken in 2014, the one below in July 2021.
